Adam and Eve
Christians believe that Adam and Eve were the first on earth. However, scientists have a difficult time believing that information due to the fact that they have evidence that the earth is billions and billions of years old and was around before Adam and Eve. Which is also why many scientists do not believe in G-d. The problem with both Christians and scientists is that they continue to believe what is said about the bible instead of what is actually in the bible. If you take the time to read the bible, it very well does NOT say Adam and Eve were the first. I will break it down for you to not only believe Adam and Eve exists, but also that the earth indeed is billions of years old. First, let us dispel the lie that Adam and Eve were the first on earth.
Genesis 1: 28 says “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and REPLENISH the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”(KJV) The word that is important in this verse is replenish. According to Bing’s dictionary, replenish means to fill (something) up again, to restore (a stock or supply) to a former level or condition. The word again means, another time; once more, returning to a previous position or condition, in addition to what has already been mentioned. And restore means to bring back (a previous right, practice, custom, or situation). So, in Genesis 1:28 G-d told Adam and Eve to replenish, do again, restore, bring back to previous conditions. The fact that G-d told them to do it again means they could not have been the first. There had to be someone on earth previously in order for Adam and Eve to do it again.
Now let’s go back to Genesis 1: 1-2, and see what happened. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. This creation of earth is what Americans call dinosaurs. Because we were not here, we do not know what these beings were. They very well could have been named something other than dinosaurs. As well as the “cavemen and homo sapiens,” those are the terms we use, but very well could be wrong. Genesis 1:2 “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Because you cannot create void and darkness, obviously that means something happened between verses 1 and 2. Before I tell you what happened, to answer the questions how many years passed between verses 1 and 2, no one knows. Scientists have proven it was billion plus years, but no one knows the exact amount of time. The bible does not disclose it so it simply means it is not our business.
So, what happened to cause the first creation to be destroyed? The following scriptures talk about the fall of Satan (Heylel (his original name)): Isaiah 14:12-16, Ezekiel 28:13-19, Luke 10: 17-18, Revelation 12: 7-9. To keep it short Satan got arrogant and tried to take the throne of Heaven. Michael found out, asked YHWH what to do and YHWH told Michael to take care of it. There was a war, Michael won, and Satan was kicked out of Heaven. When Satan fell, he destroyed the first earth (creation), and that is how the earth became dark and void. HOWEVER, scientists have found prehistoric fish and birds still living today. That makes sense, because the air and the deep waters (where the prehistoric fish are found) were not affected by the fall. After Satan destroyed the earth, YHWH started over with Adam and Eve. That is why YHWH told them to REPLENISH, because they needed to redo what Satan destroyed. According to Ezekiel 28:13-19, Satan had a breastplate with stones on them (carnelian, chrysolite, emerald, topaz, onyx, jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl). Satan lost them in the fall. That is why stones are found in the deep of the earth, because that’s where they ended up after he fell. You still may not believe, but hopefully, now you have evidence that not only is the earth billions of years old, but Adam and Eve did indeed exist after the fall of Satan, and were not the first creation, but the second.
